Antholops (2024 Garden Monster @ NEWFIELDS)

This is my first sculpture from a collection of artwork created for Newfields (formerly Indianapolis Musuem of Art) for their "Harvest Nights" outdoor exhibit. Garden Monsters are intended to blend into their natural surroundings in the Garden at Newfields and to be made from mostly natural materials - as well as follow the yearly theme.

I was awarded this sculpture opportunity in 2024 and was one of ten chosen artists out of 42. 2024's theme was Petrifying Plants & Bewitching Blooms and thus was born, Antholops.
